Premium Cabinetry for a Compact Kitchen
This beautifully designed kitchen may not have a large footprint, but we installed various smart drawer and cabinet solutions that bring functionality to the space.
Every cabinet was custom-designed to fit the lifestyle of the homeowner. Some of the features include:
- An upgraded LeMans corner unit that swings completely out of the cabinet, making storage easier to reach than a traditional Lazy Susan.
- An integrated knife drawer that keeps clutter off the counters.
- Handleless cabinetry for a clean, cohesive look.
- Soft-close hardware on all of the cabinets.
- A modern lift-up mechanism (or “appliance garage”) on the overhead cabinet that’s easy to open, easy to close, and highly efficient.
We also blew out a wall to make the space feel more open, and additional storage was tucked in the back of the new peninsula to make the most of every inch of the kitchen space.

Tailored Storage Features for an Open Concept Kitchen
When we blow out a kitchen wall to craft an open concept kitchen, our goal is to make every inch of storage count.
In this renovation, we opened up a cramped U-shaped layout by removing a load-bearing, dividing wall, then took advantage of the tall ceilings by extending the storage into the upper cabinets, perfect for seasonal or less-used items.
To make every inch of storage count, we added custom cabinetry like pull-out pantry drawers and a double pull-out system under the sink for garbage, recycling, and cleaning supplies. We even carved out space for a discreet charging station in a former desk nook, which added flexibility without clutter.
It’s still a compact kitchen, but with thoughtful design choices and intentional storage systems, it now feels organized, spacious, and elevated.

Custom Pantry Upgrades
A well-planned pantry can completely transform your kitchen’s ease of use.
Instead of relying on standard cabinetry, we installed pull-out drawers that make it easy to access everything, from cereal boxes to small appliances. We installed dovetailed wood drawers to give this pantry a high-end, durable finish. The soft-close hardware adds a smooth, quiet touch that makes everyday use more effortless for the homeowner.
Above the drawers, we installed larger shelves to hold bulkier items, which keeps everything organized and accessible. This pantry setup fits beautifully with the surrounding cabinetry, which includes deep base drawers and a built-in prep area. In kitchens where it’s hard to find storage space, these premium upgrades can make a big the difference in the homeowner’s daily routine.

Floating Shelves for Style and Storage
Open shelving can sometimes feel like a risky move in a kitchen, but in the right space, it adds a fresh, open feel that’s also functional for everyday use.
In this kitchen, we used floating shelves to display glassware and decor, making it cohesive with the existing cabinetry with a matching finish. The integrated under-cabinet lighting adds a layer of visual interest, highlighting the items on display and illuminating the counter space below.
They’re a perfect example of how small design touches can enhance the style and usability of your kitchen, especially in tighter layouts where closed cabinets might feel too heavy or close off the space.
