How We Transformed this Outdated Bathroom
We completely reimagined this ensuite to better serve the homeowners’ daily routines.
The previous layout included a single sink and a bulky corner tub (typical in ’80s bathrooms) that limited movement and task lighting throughout the bathroom.
We opened up the space to include a double-sink walnut vanity, a freestanding soaker tub, and a beautifully-tiled custom walk-in shower with a niche. Each tile was selected and placed with purpose, creating a cohesive, high-quality finish that looks just right. We elevated the space even further with a large window for natural light, floating shelves, and anti-fog backlit mirrors.
This bathroom renovation is a perfect mix of detail, comfort, and custom design.

Every light was carefully chosen and placed, from the dimmable backlit mirrors to the sconces above the vanity, the pendant over the tub, and the puck lights above the shelves. These layers of light look beautiful and make the mundane routines just a little brighter. Whether it’s bright light for the homeowner’s morning routine or a softer light for an evening bath, the atmosphere is easy to adjust.
We even added a statement pendant light above the freestanding tub, framed by a new, larger window that floods the room with natural light.
