To achieve this, we removed the old built-in corner pantry and created a pass-through in the bearing wall that divided the kitchen from the dining room. For improved storage, we added a pantry wall with more efficient pull-out cabinets and a built-in coffee/espresso maker.
Floating shelves were added for easy access and display items. The island was lengthened to create more seating space and new quartz countertops with tile backsplash provide for a beautiful, low maintenance finish.
In the living area, a new fireplace bump-out was added to update the overall look and create a dedicated space for the TV. The chase was cladded in a large-format tile, along with an inlaid hearth in the hardwood floor.
