Where a simple deck and free-standing hot tub once sat in the backyard of a desirable Riverdale home, now stands a modern pergola and expansive two-level deck and built-in serviceable hot tub.
Our clients wanted a backyard that facilitates an outdoor lifestyle, with enhanced privacy and a modern design aesthetic. To achieve this, we created a spacious two-tier deck with gorgeous premium Zuri decking – which gives an exotic look without the maintenance requirements – in two complementary tones for stylistic depth.
The installation of four vertical privacy screens and Swedish Aspen trees help to define the space and create an intimate haven for connecting and entertaining guests. The fire table and heated lounge space, with a new dedicated gas line, means the temperature is always comfortable beneath the thoughtfully lit pergola.
Residents can now unwind in the seamlessly built-in hot tub and enjoy drinks at the pony wall, featuring a Dekton countertop. LED lights on photocell illuminate the deck risers and the pergola lighting is wired to its own dedicated switch.
New artificial grass and curated landscaping details complete the updated look of this backyard retreat!
