An electrical fire resulted in this beautiful home in the Patricia Heights neighbourhood of Edmonton needing to be completely restored and stripped back from its framing. A complete electrical rewiring was done. Plumbing was replaced, including stacks. A combination of spray foam and batt and blow insulation was installed.
The owners of the home made the most of the situation and requested some luxury modifications to increase the footprint of the kitchen. Additionally, new interior doors plus trim and exterior doors and windows were installed.
Custom cabinets and millwork replaced the old cabinets, and hardwood and luxury vinyl tile flooring were put in place.
Custom railings were added and the fireplace was reconfigured and replaced with a gas model on the main floor. For the finishing touch, LED pot lighting was installed throughout. James Hardie siding with LUX siding accents completed the exterior look and feel.
