Our clients reached out to us because their builder’s standard basement layout didn’t align with how they envisioned using the space. They had specific needs for distinct areas but also wanted an open, fluid layout. In response, we designed a unique basement that maintained an open feel while seamlessly integrating each distinct area they had in mind.
Their basement has now become an extraordinary extension of their living space, featuring an entertainment area, bedroom, luxurious bathroom, and a cozy day-bed area. Each aspect of the space was personalized, including a feature wall in the entertainment area adorned with custom cabinetry, fluted millwork, a recessed bookcase, and floating shelves.
The wall-mounted TV with an integrated raceway gives a clean and organized look. Durable luxury vinyl/cork plank flooring paired with feature and LED pot lighting combine to create a versatile atmosphere for both entertainment and relaxation.
The basement renovation also features a stunning new bathroom, with aesthetic and functional upgrades like a heated large format tile floor, a custom-designed two-tone shower tile surround with a linear niche, and a wall-mounted vanity boasting a high-gloss finish and quartz countertop.
