Paul is father, a cabinetmaker and craftsman, lived by the philosophy, “do it right or don’t do it at all.” This way of thinking was passed down to Paul, and he has spent his entire career making sure that every project is complete to the finest detail.
Paul was born and raised in Stony Plain, Alberta. In the mid-90s he moved to the snowy mountains of Whistler, British Columbia. During this time he developed his craft and led the planning and direction on all aspects of multiple resort refurbishments in Whistler.
A growing fascination with architecture, design, and construction inspired Paul to leave Canada and travel through Southeast Asia, Central & South America and Austral-Asia. He travelled to over 35 countries, honing his craft along the way. He made extended stops to work as a carpenter and furniture builder at a surf resort in Samoa, and as a custom cabinet maker on a yacht in Australia.
In 2012, Paul felt his Alberta roots calling and returned to Edmonton to start a family.
He started his company, Contact Renovations and Custom Homes, and is now known throughout Alberta for delivering creative, high-quality, custom large-scale renovations, and for providing exceptional customer service. Paul’s mission is to build something truly remarkable for his clients.
Today, Paul, his wife Taty, and their two sons call the neighbourhood of Ritchie home. He is actively involved in the school and community league, and loves being close to nature in the Mill Creek Ravine. Paul’s favorite projects are those that are collaborative in nature, where he and his team work closely with clients to build something special, designed around their family.
